30 Days Till 30— Daily Video Blog: Episode Wrap
I've been thirty for almost a month now. It only sometimes feels different. More than different, it feels good— like my life is headed in a really good direction and 2016 is going to be a good one. I had some disappointments right around the birthday and into January, but instead of derailing me, it's as if through the moments of tears, I have found renewed clarity, purpose, and joy. I'm actually really happy. Really, really, really tired, but really happy too.
I have had so much going on, that I've neglected Creatively Karalee and posting some of the 30 Till 30 Daily Videos. People constantly ask me how I do it all, and to answer that; I don't. I don't do it all. Things and stuff falls through the cracks. I let others down, make mistakes, forget to respond to text messages, and miss more deadlines than you will ever know.
I'm still figuring it out just as much at 30 as I was at 21
I was talking— more like crying to my mom about three weeks ago. I said through the sniffles, "I STILL don't know what to do with my life! What am I supposed to do with my life?" I think these questions will continue for eternity as we humans are every changing, growing, adapting and becoming. We aren't not static. As we grow and change, so our purpose and life direction grows and changes. I'm learning to be ok with this. I'm learning to be ok with NOT having it all together.
Here are a couple of videos that I made in December that never were posted to this blog. I wanted to share them with you.
Episode #25: "Back To Work Day"
Episode #26: "Redeyes Make Me Crazy"
Episode #29: "Getting Ready For Flying With LoveAlanaChan's Help"
Also, I hope you watch the video below; a video made by my dear friend and past colleague, Alvin. He has embarked on an adventure and is currently pursuing his passion. I am so proud and inspired by him.
I will leave you with one last thought, a thought dedicated to my friend Katy, and the thought is this:
“And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” -Paulo Coelho
